In search of the best recipe for bitters, Miles Thomas, a bartender from Seattle, plunged into research and development in the world of herbs and extraction methods. He learned how to combine flavors to enhance the desired taste and realized that there are not only many ways to extract flavor from the same source, but each gives its own unique flavor. Miles ' work bore fruit, and in 2008 the Scrappy's Bitters project was officially launched. Since then, the team has been creating the best handmade bitters in the world.
